Storyboards

One of my favorite parts of photo processing is creating a storyboard. I love how bringing pictures together makes for an interesting and beautiful image.

Today I spent a few hours with baby Henry. He was a gem of a baby! He slept so peacefully through the shoot only waking to eat a couple of times. Christy and Adam, thank you for sharing your new, beautiful baby boy with me today. I had so much fun getting to know you both.

I had the joy of meeting Jack Henry today. He was a perfect model – sleepy most of the day and easy to pose.  Erin and John, it was fun getting to  know you both today.  You are wonderful parents.  Jack is a beautiful little boy.  I can already imagine Jack with his toy tools copying his daddy!    We’ll get a tool shot next time, John.

Crosby 7 Days:: Newborn Photography

Posted on July 13, 2010

I spent this morning with 7 day old Crosby.  What a sweet, cuddly little boy.  He was so mellow but didn’t really want to fall asleep at first.  Luckily we were all patient and were able to capture some special moments.  Fleur,  you’re a wonderful mum!  I really enjoyed getting to know you better.  You and David are going to have so much fun watching Crosby grow!

Yesterday I had the joy of meeting Izzie and her family at the Peace Gardens near Lake Harriet.  It was a beautiful night to take pictures of a sweet little 3 year old.  She had fun looking for butterflies, playing in the fountains, and chasing bubbles.  Here are a couple of my favorite pictures from last night.  Thank you Mike and Keri for sharing your evening with me.  I’m glad the rains stayed away for Izzie’s pool party today!  Izzie, thank you for laughing and sharing your stories with me.  I had fun and hope you did too.

My Guy

I had a great time spending a week with only my oldest in San Diego.  He had never seen the ocean and loved it!  I love this picture I captured of him and his wonderful smile on our last day at the beach.  It means even more to me today….he told me his front tooth was really loose.  (Hopefully it can hold out for corn on the cob season in a couple of weeks!)  There’s something about loosing the two front teeth for me.  He’s no longer my little boy.

A Few More from San Diego….

We had many fun days at the beach when I visited my sister.  I miss San Diego already!
