Yesterday I spent the morning with this beautiful new baby girl!  At a little under 6 pounds she is probably the smallest baby I have photographed.   And, what a dream!  Ava slept for over an hour through all pose changes and then woke at the end so we could see her bright eyes.  What a fun morning!  Scott and Barbara, your family is beautiful!  Thank you for sharing your new daughter with me.

I spent the morning with the Levendoski family at Mill City Museum and the Guthrie Theater in downtown Minneapolis. What a fun family! There was some dancing, laughing, and lots of cute smiles by the well dressed young man below! Love his shiny black shoes, tie, and spiked hair. Enjoy a quick sneak peek Levendoskis.

Ben and I spent the morning at the Guthrie Theater. I have an upcoming photo shoot there and wanted to check it out again with my camera and a cute little subject.

I met Lila and her family at the Peace Gardens on Sunday afternoon. Lila was one of the first newborns I photographed when I first discovered my love for newborn photography. Now she is an adorable 9 month old! It’s always fun to watch babies grow.

This morning I met Jason and his family at Minnehaha Falls. What a perfect fall day! It was going to be too perfect actually.  We changed our session from this afternoon to mornings to avoid the 80+ degree heat.

You may remember these beautiful blue eyes from Jason’s 9 month shoot.  It was fun to see how Jason has grown in just a few months!  Kristy and  Jeff it was nice to see you both again.  You have a wonderful family!

It was a beautiful fall day to take photos at Richardson Nature Center with August and Finn. Finn enjoyed looking for fish in the lake and climbing a tree. He did keep trying to find the “real” park as we hiked around. August was just happy showing off her exceptional one year old walking skills and big blue eyes.

I’ve known Finn and August’s mom, Leah, since she was the one out fishing and climbing trees as a tomboy. I spent every summer as a child at our cabin hanging out with Leah’s family. They are some of my favorite memories! It was so fun to catch up a bit yesterday with you Leah. You and Harold have a beautiful family!

I spent the morning with this sweet newborn and his family. Asher loved being bundled, the smile is proof! We had to be a bit inventive until the end when he was sleepy enough to spend a little time on his tummy for us! It was worth the wait. What a cutie!  Leighton thanks for sharing your new baby with me today.  Saanii and Adam, it was fun spending time with you both today.  Two little boys, you have some fun years ahead of you!
