This smiling girl is one of the first I photographed when I first started my photography business. Now her baby sister is growing quickly and smiling for the camera. One of the best parts of my job is watching families grow.

Saturday was the beginning of a wonderful photography season.  I’ll call it the warm season.  It is again warm enough to take outdoor photos here in Minnesota!  I spent the afternoon at the Peace Gardens with Georgia and her family.  What a beautiful day to play around and explore for a 5 year old!

I spent last Friday morning with Camden and his family. He was a mellow little boy as long as I let him keep his hands near his face. Luckily it looks cute when babies have their hands by their faces! Tim and Becky, thank you for sharing Camden with me. I look forward to watching him grow!

I had the joy of meeting Luke and his family this past weekend. He was a little older than most of the newborns I photo but he did a great job! Smiles, bright eyes, and peaceful sleep, what an adorable little boy! Sora and Boram, thank you for sharing Luke with me, he’s beautiful! I look forward to watching him grow this year.

Yesterday I spent the morning meeting Willis and his little brother Andrew.  It was a fun morning of cars and stuffed animals and even some pictures.  Love Andrew’s big blue eyes!  Erik and Jackie, thank you for letting me spend the morning with your family.  You have 2 beautiful little boys!

Just finished working on this family’s storyboard.  I loved all the fun bed pictures and had to put them together.  Enjoy!

I’ve known Reese and Carter for almost a year now.  It has been so fun watching them grow and now their family is growing!  A new baby will be coming in the early summer!  You can see already that Carter is going to make an amazing big brother.  He is a sweet little boy.  Quick to share a kiss with his sister and a story about his new love of penguins.  Reese was quick to move and smile and giggle and move some more today!

Tori, it was nice to see you and your family again.  I can’t wait to meet your new little one in July!

I spent yesterday morning meeting Everett, who is almost one, and his brother Easton and sister Avery!  They were a fun bunch!  Full of stories, energy, and even some smiles.  Thank you for a fun morning Jim and Amy, you have a wonderful family!

Saturday’s blizzard postponed my meeting of sweet Veda and her big brother Silas until Sunday morning. When I stepped into her house, the sun was pouring through the many southern facing windows and the fire was warm and inviting. It was easy to forget the frigid temperatures and the mess the snow had created outside.

Angel and Joe, I enjoyed getting to know both of your children. You have a beautiful family. Silas is going to make a wonderful big brother!
