Birth Photography

Arms reach out, lungs fill with air , and then you hear your baby’s cry for the first time.  Your long wait has ended and your new baby is finally here.  It’s a moment of a lifetime!  Being at a birth and witnessing that first cry is an honor; capturing the first moments of your little one’s life for you to enjoy forever is pure joy.

We will meet to discuss the process of birth photography.  When the big day comes, call when labor begins, even if it’s the middle of the night.  Then once you are in active labor,  I will come to the birth center, your home, or the hospital and stay as long as needed to quietly and discretely take photos.  I will stay about 2 hours after your new one’s birth to capture your newborn’s firsts.

New parents are always excited to share pictures!  I will process 2-3 photos for you to view within 48 hours of the shoot.  These photos will be available on my blog for your family to see.  I will also e-mail 2-3 photos that you can share with family and friends online.  Within about 3 weeks, you will also receive a DVD slide show of your images set to music along with a proof of each slide show picture.    I will set up a private gallery  on my website for additional photo orders.  The gallery will remain on the site for 10 days.
